(…) Musicians travel through the world as never before in human history and technological progress influences our society. The beautiful consequences of the musical meeting of three gifted musicians playing together are printed on to this CD and this makes it possible to listen to it many times again. What’s conserved – the music itself – doesn’t change any more: it’s a fixed number of ones and zeroes which don’t actually contain any information. We generate information out of it. Only the listener changes and in new ways is able to enjoy music decoded from ones and zeroes in a different listening environment. The listener makes the music! It’s a pleasure to listen to the composed improvisations on this CD one after the other, in their order. So-called improvisation is a method of composition and already the order of the pieces is a composition in itself. My recommendation is to listen.
